With over a decade of unwavering dedication, Perana Set Design has evolved into a cornerstone of excellence in event management and training. Our journey began humbly in 1999 when our visionary founder, Naven, embarked on a mission fueled by passion and determination. Starting with just R300 worth of materials procured from a friend, Naven’s journey into the world of event décor began. Despite lacking previous experience, his ingenuity and perseverance saw him experimenting with basic draping styles on a humble washing line in his backyard.
As recognition of his talent grew, so did his ambition. In 2015, fueled by a desire to share his knowledge and expertise, Naven launched the “Learn to Drape” workshop, a groundbreaking initiative that rapidly gained popularity within the industry. To date, this workshop has empowered over 450 delegates, equipping them with invaluable skills and knowledge to embark on their own entrepreneurial journeys in the events sector.
